Average rent or 1 bed room house is 1100 euros
1400 euros for 2 bed apt and for studio it could be in between 500 to 700 euros.
This is for fully furished apartments.
RealEstate Agents take one month rent as a brokerage(fee)
Best place to stay for expatriaties(outsider who came to new country temporary or long term)
is Amstelveen which is 30 minutes for Schiphol International airport and an hour long from Amsterdam city(by train).
All cities are very well connected by Trains and buses so Public transportation is best,its little expensive though.
